मैं जुनैद इकराम, कांग्रेस पार्टी का महानगर अध्यक्ष। राजनीति और समाज सेवा मेरे परिवार की पहचान रही है। मेरे पिता जनाब हाजी इकराम कुरैशी ने पहले मंत्री और बाद में विधायक के रूप में जनता की सेवा की।I am Junaid Ikram, Metropolitan President of the Congress Party. Politics and social service have defined my family. My father, Haji Ikram Qureshi, served the people first as a Minister and later as an MLA.
उनकी प्रतिबद्धता देखते हुए बड़ा हुआ, और बहुत कम उम्र से समुदायों की मदद, युवाओं के सहयोग और ज़रूरतमंदों के साथ खड़े होने से जुड़ गया।Growing up watching his commitment, I joined in helping communities, supporting youth and standing with those in need from a very young age.
लोगों के अपार प्यार और भरोसे से मैंने सक्रिय राजनीति में कदम रखा। मैंने इंडियन नेशनल कांग्रेस को इसलिए चुना क्योंकि वह बिना भेदभाव समानता, सद्भाव और न्याय के मूल्यों पर चलती है।Encouraged by the immense love and trust of the people, I stepped into active politics. I chose the Indian National Congress because it upholds equality, harmony and justice without discrimination.

लगभग तीस वर्षों का सार्वजनिक जीवन – मंत्री(2012-2017) एवं विधायक(2017-2022)Nearly thirty years in public life – Minister(2012-17) & MLA(2017-22).
- 1995बसपा के टिकट पर मेयर चुनाव लड़कर राजनीति में अलग पहचान बनाई।Contested the mayoral election on a BSP ticket and made a distinct mark.
- 1996-समाजवादी पार्टी (नगर अध्यक्ष 2004-2007) एवं (जिला अध्यक्ष-2008-11) ग़रीबों के लिए काम करने की इच्छाशक्ति से प्रभावित होकर मुलायम सिंह यादव के आमंत्रण पर समाजवादी पार्टी से जुड़े और मुरादाबाद की कमान संभाली।Impressed by his will to work for the poor, he joined the Samajwadi Party at Mulayam Singh Yadav’s invitation and led it in Moradabad.
- 2012अखिलेश यादव सरकार में मंत्री बने।Became a Minister in the Akhilesh Yadav government.
- 2017मुरादाबाद देहात से भारी मतों से जीतकर विधायक बने।Won Moradabad Rural by a huge margin and became MLA.
- INCकांग्रेस में शामिल हुए और तब से पार्टी को मज़बूत करने में जुटे हैं।Joined the Congress and has since worked to strengthen the party.
